Lilly's 3rd Birthday!

Three years came and went so fast, but yet so very slow. We celebrated Lilly's 3rd Birthday on the 17th. Some of our favorite words from Lilly: everything had again on the end, 2 n 'em, that's the deal, is that a bad word, I'm okay! We love you are silly Li'l Lilly Punkintine.

Sawmill Trail at Mount Charleston

We went on a hike on August 25th to the Sawmill Trail. It was a short one made into a long one. We enjoyed a picnic first. We then collected specimens along the way. There were many different flowers and bushes and trees. I was surprised to see how many we had collected by the end. Along our trek, we showed Ocean and Lilly how to use a compass and binoculars.

To the Detective Oral Board!

With his ($25)00 suit on, he left home looking sharp and very nervous. For months he prepared; ride-alongs, brown nosing, talking to LT for test info., studying, and taking all of the required classes. He Placed 3rd on The List! 20 applied and 10 placed. Hopefully within the year they will pull him up to detective!

2009 Garden!

Well our outside was burnt by mid June or July, so we were relying on our inside potted plants. This here is our carrots. We were expecting them to be worthy of eating. They ended up being about 1 and 1/2 inches and tasting very rooty. All well. Next year maybe.

Grants Farm St. Lois, MO

The goats loved milk, and the kids loved the goats. When in St. Louis this is a must see/visit.

The Gateway Arch (St. Louis, MO)

We were up 630 ft. While we were up there we could feel it sway back and forth from the wind. Follow your dreams and travel, travel, travel. You will never know what you will find, until you find it...... Part of finding is looking!
